Senior Skills Trainer Awais Muhammed

Awais has over seven years industry experience working across a wide range of Cyber Security domains. A MSc graduate of University of South Wales, he leads the team of skills trainers at the Cyber Innovation Hub to deliver courses created in partnership with industry and targeting the specific challenges faced by Cyber firms in South Wales and across the wider tech community. He has direct experience in incident handling, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and developing playbooks in a fast paced, high-volume commercial environment. He is also proficient in orchestrating Windows administration and monitoring intricate network infrastructures. He uses this knowledge to create content which enables our learners to see how the skills they learn can have real world impact, and actively engage in the learning.

Skills Trainer Ashish Nair

Ashish is a graduate of Cardiff Universities Cyber Security Master’s programme with over eight years of industry experience in risk management and analytics. He has specialist knowledge and experience with business continuity, IT & Cyber strategy, and the implementation of security systems. Ashish brings this unique mix of skills and experience to the design of courses which allow the learner to apply the skills taught using real life scenarios and case studies.

Skills Trainer Iftikhar Ahmad

Iftikhar is passionate about nurturing the next wave of cyber champions. A graduate of University of South Wales’s MS in Cyber Security, he crafts engaging courses, coordinating with high profile industry and academic partners to enhance the cyber readiness of his learners. Iftikhar specialises in the orchestrion of cyber security governance functions with risk-centric approach and guided mobile development initiatives delivering impactful solutions with a dash of innovation. As a start-up veteran, he brings a new perspective to the skills team, making sure our courses are relevant and current.

Skills Trainer Vignesh Durairaj

With over seven years of industry experience, Vignesh has excelled as a Senior Consultant at PwC, and specialised in cloud security architecture at KPMG . His expertise encompasses red team assessments, threat hunting, and network penetration testing. As a cybersecurity corporate trainer, he has pioneered cyber war games and incident investigations, demonstrating proficiency in IT and OT network segregation analysis, data leakage protection controls, and enterprise security architecture reviews. Vignesh brings hands-on experience with leading products like Cisco ISE, Symantec DLP, Splunk, and PaloAlto traps, ensuring robust , hands-on instruction for today’s dynamic digital landscape.
