World Class Testbed Facilities

Our training and venture building takes advantage of our world class testbed facilities. From scalable digital twins to physical manufacturing and connected vehicle systems

We believe in upskilling people with ability to apply and execute cybersecurity, as well as understand the theory; and we believe our venture building solutions should be validated in real world situations (to complement the shiny slide deck!).

We are also here for you. If you have a need for a small-scale virtual or physical testbed to build, test and validate device deployment, processes, sub-systems etc. We can work with you to build this to your specification, and you can hire the testbed and our top class cyber engineers for a period of time to help you with this.

We host one of the most innovative cybersecurity laboratories.

It consists of a range of state-of-the-art equipment designed to practice hands on offensive and defensive techniques on relevant and realistic systems.

Physical Cyber Systems

The lab currently includes three cyber physical systems; a pharmaceutical production line, a connected vehicle rig, an oil and gas sub system, and a smart city which includes a railway system and an energy grid.

HMIs, PLCs and CANbus Hardware

All systems consist of hardware (HMIs, PLCs, CANbus) that are widely used within the industry, allowing users to conduct experiments, collect data, and develop cutting edge defence mechanisms based on realistic systems.

Immersive Augmented Reality (AR)

“Digital Twins” of systems such as healthcare, education, smart homes, and industrial systems allow us to create and visually showcase different cyber attack scenarios, used to make decisions to defend against the occurring attack.

Complex Network Infrastructures

We can virtually create different networks of any size using representative and relevant software (OSs and applications) ultimately allowing us to link the visual element of the AR with an actual networking system.

Realistic Virtual Network

Users will be able to use the AR to visually observe how an attack propagates on e.g. a hospital, while it occurs on the realistic virtual network on the cyber range. This will allow people to respond to the attack by applying a range of defence measures in real time.

Surround Sound and Digital Wall

A surround sound system and a digital wall have also been installed. The latter showcases a Security Operations Centre (SOC) dashboard, displaying all the relevant information of the system under attack.
