  • Topics include: Cybersecurity metrics, user behaviour management, Gen-AI for security, tech control effectiveness, third-party risk mitigation, and diverse security integration.

The PhD is available through the Cardiff School of Computer Science and Informatics, Cardiff University. Ensure you meet the entry requirements for PhD study at Cardiff University:

  • Hold a 2:1 Honours undergraduate degree or a master’s degree in computing or related fields.
  • Relevant professional experience is also considered.
  • Proficiency in degree-level mathematics (or equivalent) may be required for specific project areas.
  • Applicants for whom English is not their first language must demonstrate their proficiency by obtaining an IELTS score of at least 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in each skills component. Please read the Cardiff University English language requirements for more details.
