Dr. Vijay Kumar is a Cybersecurity Research Lead at the Cyber Innovation Hub, where he develops and manages immersive cyber testbeds that allow organisations to rehearse incidents, validate defences, and explore new solutions in safe, high-fidelity environments. His work supports leaders and technical teams in making cyber risk visible and building capability where it matters most.

Vijay combines technical depth with practical insight to strengthen critical infrastructure security. He brings industry experience as a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young and academic expertise as a visiting lecturer at Gujarat Forensic Sciences University. With a background spanning cybersecurity, information technology, and applied research, and over six years of experience spanning consultancy, IT, and applied research, he helps ensure CIH’s testbeds are technically rigorous, relevant, and impactful.
